Joyce Elliott Gordon passed on May 14, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with her family and friends holding her hands; she passed very quietly and calmly.
She was tiny in stature with a giant personality. The minute she left this world, there was an enormous void.
Survivors include her son, David Gordon and wife, Deborah, one grandson, Taylor Desormeaux and wife Arie; one sister, Johanna Elliott Buckley and numerous beloved nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.
She was preceded in death by James A. Gordon Jr. and their son, Ken A. Gordon; her sister, Alverta (Vert) Elliott Lee and her brother, Royston (Bub) Elliott.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
We wish to thank Maria Alvey and Sandra Foreman for their kindness and caring. We also would like to thank the nurses and staff of St. Joseph Hospice and the many caregivers of Home Instead.
