Fay Honour Needs Adams

Fay Honour Needs Adams, 74 years of age, passed away on Saturday April 17th at Ochsner Hospital.

Fay, the daughter of the late Leslie Needs and Doris Frances Malachowski Needs, was born on July 2, 1946 in Norwich, England. Fay moved to the United States at only 20 years old. From there, she built a beautiful life and family with the love of her life for the past 55 years, Earl H. Adams.

Fay loved horses, deer hunting, hummingbirds and painting. She was a devoted Christian who loved Jesus, spending time with her family, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children, Faith Cortez Adams (Greg), Earl Adams Jr. (Lynelle), Paul Adams Sr. (Gwen) and Amiya Luquette, as well as her bother Paul Needs. She was also the beloved grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Fay joins her mother, Doris Frances Malachowski Needs, her father, Leslie Needs, her brother, Anthony Needs, her sister, Myrtle Needs Roper and her great-grandchild, Ja’Kyle Malik Sandolph in Heaven.

A funeral service will take place at Des Allemands Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 21st at 11am with visitation starting at 9 am. Graveside services will follow in Mennonite Cemetery. The family would like to thank Ochsner Hospital staff for their effort and dedication.
