Jeanette Barrios Ewing, 68, a native of Des Allemands and a resident of Bayou Gauche, passed away on Wednesday, April 2.
Visitation was Friday, April 4 at Des Allemands Mennonite with church church religious services following. Burial was in the Mennonite Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Matherne; grandchildren, Carli, Robert and Austin Matherne; brothers Layman Barrios Jr. and Jarvis Barrios and sister, Laura Barrios.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Moe” Ewing and parents Layman Sr. and Lena Comardelle Barrios.
