Becky Jo Alexander Dufrene, 69, a native of Texas City, Texas, and resident of Paradis passed away on March 8.
Dufrene is survived by her husband, Harris Joseph Dufrene Jr., sons, Harris Dufrene III, Jonathan Dufrene Breanne); grandchildren, Braxton, Madisen, Joseph and Josiah Dufrene; sisters, Jane Alexander (Brown), Barbara Jean Sanders, Dorothy A. Montz (Mark); cousin, Kaye Campbell, Sister-in-law, Karen D. Russo (Mike).
She was preceded in death by her parents, J.C. and Jessie Lee Alexander and brothers-in-law, Roy Brown and Mike Sanders.
Dufrene was a math educator at J.B. Martin Jr. High School, loved animals, designer and creator of unique jewelry, loved cruises and lived her life for her sons and grandchildren.
Visitation was held March 14 at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland followed by religious services.
