John N. Donnaud Sr., 92, a native and a resident of Luling passed away on Saturday, May 9.
Visitation was held May 13 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Luling.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday with burial in St. Charles Cemetery in Luling.
He is survived by his sons, Johnny Donnaud; and wife Linda, Gerald Donnaud and wife, Karen, Mitchell Donnaud; and wife Crystal; daughters, Cheryl McDermott and husband Gary; Brenda Leclere and husband Eddie; Yvette Donnaud, Judy Tourne’ and husband Jess; Suzette McGuire, Suzanne Lirette and husband David; Tina Brou and husband Gordon; brother, Paul Donnaud; 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elva Troxler Donnaud; daughter, Jennifer Ann Donnaud; parents, Joseph L. and Louise T. Donnaud; brothers, Prosper, Lawrence “Jack”, Allen, Joseph Jr., Albert “BB” Donnaud; sisters, Lillian Poche, Ruby Smith, Annie Lee Bourgeois, Eula Templet, Mary Brown, Rita Donnaud and three great grandchildren.
John was a member of the American Legion and VFW.
Falgout Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
