It is with a heavy heart that we announce Bernard C. “Donnie” Donellan Jr. lost his battle with heart disease on Feb. 20.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be announced at a later date.
Jackie would like to say thank you to the St. Charles EMS team, the St. Charles Sheriff’s Office, the Luling Fire Department, St. Charles Parish Hospital and East Jefferson General Hospital for their services. And a special thanks for the prayers, phone calls and wonderful words from family and friends.
Donellan is survived by his wife Jackie; son, Steven; daughter-in-law Sarah; nieces Traci and Michelle; nephew Patrick, his beloved dog Katie and many loving friends and extended family.
Burial will be at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell at a later date. Memorial contributions may be sent to Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO).
