Celeastin “C.J. Dempster, Jr., 71, a native and resident of Des Allemands, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 10.
Visitation was Friday, Sept. 12 at Life Fellowship Community Church in Bayou Gauche. Religious services were followed in Sunset Cemetery in Bayou Gauche.
He is survived by his wife Dianna Dempster; sons, Barry Dempster and wife Annette, Joseph Dempster and wife Kim; daughter, Karon Cortez and husband Jimmy; brother, Marvin Dempster; 3 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Celeastin Dempster, Sr. and Lillian B. Dempster.
