Debra Jean “Debbie” Duhe

Debra Jean “Debbie” Duhe passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025, in Boutte, Louisiana. Born on January 28, 1963, in Hammond, Louisiana. Debbie lived a life marked by unwavering faith, strength, and compassion.

Those who knew Debbie remember her as a long, caring, and selfless presence. A woman whose heart was always open to others. Her strength and determination were evident in every aspect of her life. Whether facing challenges or celebrating joys, she met each day with resilience and grace. A devoted woman of God, her faith was the cornerstone of her life. It guided her actions and inspired those around her.

Her love extended deeply to family and friends alike. She gave freely of herself to support and uplift others, embodying kindness in both word and deed. Her presence brought comfort and encouragement to many.

Debbie is preceded in death by parents (William James Jr. and Laura Mae Venable). Survived by siblings (Jesse James, Rose All, and Joanne Chernota) life partner (Mark Ducote) children (Megan and Zane Duhe) and grandchild (Lonzo Bourgeois).
