Davis J. Aucoin Sr. 81, a native of Pierre Part and a resident of Des Allemands, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, December 17, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Paradis, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Des Allemands, LA.
He is survived by his wife Judith Dufrene Aucoin; daughter, Tammy Brasher (Jay); sons, Jason Aucoin (Sonya) and Davis Aucoin Jr. (Tobi); grandchildren, Travis, Tyson, Magan, Jade, Colin, Alex, Andrew, Paige, Blade and Kaine; great grandchildren, Daltry, Ezra, Finn, Abel, Brandon, Parker, Rory and Blakely; brothers, Harry, Aubrey and Ernest Aucoin and sister, Anna Mae Alberes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cyrile Francois Aucoin and Albertine Aucoin; brothers, Justillean, George, Laury, Rogers and Helman Aucoin and sisters, Anite Goodwin, Laura Mae Aucoin and Shirley Domingue.
Davis loved spending time with his family.
