Darlene Dufrene Cortez, 39, a native of Waggaman and a resident of Des Allemands passed away on Thursday, March 19.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, March 23, and from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, at Des Allemands Mennonite Church.
Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with burial to follow in the Mennonite Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Ryan Cortez; daughters, Marigny and Marley Cortez; mother, Sandra Dufrene; father and step-mother, Irvin and Patricia Dufrene; sisters, Sheila Celino and husband Scott; Charlene Dufrene and companion Gilda Frederick and God child, Lauren Celino.
Darlene was a member of the Des Allemands Mennonite Church.Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
