Corlet C. Dufrene, 70, a native of Lafitte, LA and a resident of Paradis, LA, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, cousin and friend.
Visitation will be from 8:30 am until 11:00 am on Monday, May 1, 2023 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Paradis, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am.
She is survived by her sisters, Linda Brown (Ronnie) and Lorrie Cheramie; Henry “Pop” Bergeron, Jr.; niece, Shannon Darsam; great nieces, Kayla and Regan Darsam and great nephew, Seth Darsam.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Lillian Cheramie and great niece, Baby Girl Darsam.
Corlet was a dedicated employee. During her life she worked in the medical field. She continued her career at Louisiana Publishing where after 23 years she retired. After retiring she enjoyed playing computer games. She was an animal enthusiast, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
