Ruby Deroche Coriell, 90, passed away on Saturday March 23 at 9:05 a.m. in Baton Rouge.
Beloved wife of the late George Coriell. Mother of Keith Coriell and wife Chaere, Bob Coriell and wife Davlynn, James Coriell and wife Margaret, Frances Weaver, Debrah Kelly, Maureen Matherne and husband Brent, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Joseph and Chloe Picou Deroche. Sister of Daniel Deroche, Mae Belle Hogan, Lois Forrest, Barbara Weinkauf, the late Gerald Deroche, Gary Deroche, Garnet Simoneaux, Pearl Deroche and Espazie Quinn. Mother-in-law of the late Tommy Kelly.
A native of Bayou Gauche and resident of Des Allemands. Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend the funeral. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands on Wednesday March 27. Interment St. Gertrude Cemetery.
