Walterine Dufrene Comardelle, 94, a native and resident of Des Allemands, passed away on Thursday, May 29.
Visitation and religious service will were Monday, June 2, 2014 at First Assembly of God Church in Des Allemands.
Burial followed at Mennonite Cemetery in Des Allemands.She is survived by her sons, Vernon “Butch” Comardelle, wife Judith, and Gary Comardelle; brother, Josh Dufrene; sisters, Winnie McCully, Dessie Burson and Vonnie McBlair; grandchildren, Kelly and wife Carol Anne, Keith and wife Inga, Kevin and wife Jennifer, Jacob and wife Chantel, Gerald Comardelle; great-grandchildren, Emily, Hailey, Isaiah and Faith Comardelle.
She was preceded in death by husband, Roger Comardelle; daughter-in-law, Betty Comardelle; parents, Pierre Dufrene Jr. and Lucia Authement Dufrene; brother, Walter Dufrene; sisters, Annie Dufrene and Eula Dufrene.
