Carolyn Gisclair Estay, 79, a native of Westwego and a resident of Paradis, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020.
Private visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, March 27, 2020 at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland, LA. Religious services will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Alvin Estay, Jr. (Darlene); daughters, Natalie Estay Gonzalez (Antonio) and Heidi Lasserre (Robert); brother, Walter Gisclair; sisters, Dorothy G. Santini, Geraldine Comardelle, Janet Boudreaux, Judy Prewitt and Cynthia Trinks; grandchildren, Byron, Chase and Joshua Estay, Antonio Jr., Jada and Logan Gonzalez, Jonathan, Stacy and Brianna Lasserre and great grandchildren, Byron Jr., Camron, Landon, Amelia, Fisher, Ronald “Rae”, Alec, Alijah, Logan Jr., Cambry, Antonio III, Sadie, Abigail, Autumn, Harper, Bennett, Alexa, Teddy and one on the way, Maeve.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin J. Estay, Sr.; children. Wanda and Phyllis Estay; parents, Sidney and Edith Gisclair; brother, Earl Gisclair, Sr.; sister, Stella Prejeant and grandson, Robert “R.J.” Lasserre, Jr.
