Betty Jo McBroom Falgout, 74, a native of Des Allemands and resident of Raceland, passed away on May 12, 2011.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Calvin “Dale” Falgout, daughters, Dawn Auvil and Katerine Falgout, brothers, William McBroom Jr., MacDuffy McBroom and Ford McBroom; sister, Sarah Foxworth, sister-in-law, Ruth McBroom, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Sr. and Virgie Elliot McBroom, brother, Marvin “Jug” McBroom, and grandson, Paul Loupe.
Services were held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home.
