Helene Marie Caillet Baudouin

Helene Marie Caillet Baudouin, 93, native of Hahnville and resident of Baton Rouge for 69 years, passed away on Jan. 27.

Baudouin loved to spend time gardening, sewing and also crafting. She was an active member of St. George Catholic Church and was a great cook.

She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Donald M. Baudouin Sr.; daughters, Patricia B. Catanzaro and husband, Joseph, and Georgia B. LeBlanc and husband Glen; son, Gregory T. Baudouin and wife Karen; grandchildren, Amanda C. McNabb and husband Perry, Douglas P. Catanzaro and wife Christi, Jennifer B. Miller and husband Jeremy, Dawn M. Fleniken; Amie M. Baudouin, and Keith Fleniken; 9 great-grandchildren; and sister, Muriel C. Foxworth and husband Emmet.

Baudouin was preceded in death by her son, D. Michael “Mike” Baudouin Jr.; parents, Cyril A. and Denise Caillet; sisters, Leola Madere, Lois Baudouin, Florence Madere, Hazel Millet, and Shirley Mae Lambert; and brothers, Cyril Caillet Jr., P.V. Caillet and Odell Caillet.

Visitation was held Jan. 30 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home in Baton Rouge followed by services and burial at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
