Glenn L. “Petie” Babin Jr. passed away on Oct. 9, in Huntsville, Ala.
Babin is survived by daughters, Angela Russell, Dana Hinote (Bart); seven grandchildren Kyle, Erika, Dakota, Blake, Mya, Jarrett, and Lily, sister Terrilyn Babin Toups (Byron), aunts and uncles, Joyce and Angelo Puglise, and Mary and Joseph Puglise.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline Puglise Babin, and father, Glenn Louis Babin Sr.
Visitation was held in Huntsville on Oct. 12 and locally on Oct. 15 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, followed by a mass and burial in St. Charles Cemetery in Luling.
Babin graduated from Hahnville High School in 1968 and worked for P&L Hauling before moving to Texas where he worked for Ebasco at the South Texas Nuclear Plant. He moved to Huntsville in 1994. He loved his family and he loved Louisiana.
