Anthony “Tony” Panek passed away unexpectedly on June 11, 2015 surrounded by loved ones. He was 68.
Panek, a native of Tampa, Fla., graduated from Florida Military School in 1965 and later earned a degree in electrical engineering from Thomas Edison State College in 1985. He moved to Southeast Louisiana in 1968 and married his wife Lynda in 1971.
He and Lynda settled in Luling, where they raised their two children He enjoyed a 40-year career at Union Carbide/Dow Chemical.
Panek is preceded in death by his parents.
Our beloved Tony will be loved and missed by his wife, Lynda; son, Chris; daughter, Tracey; granddaughter, Beth; and two sisters, Kathryn and Deborah.
Services will be held at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Tampa at 10 a.m. on June 29, 2015. The family is grateful for condolences.
