Leah Goutierrez Andry died on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at her residence in Montz. Age 42, she was born in Erath, but has lived in Norco all her life.
She was a Beautician and Dental Assistant. Survived by husband, Mark Steven Andry of Montz; son, Jake Devin Andry of Montz; parents, Shelly E. Goutierrez and Judy Ann Smith Goutierrez of Montz; parents-in-law, Earl J. Andry and Eleanor Bergeron Andry; grandmothers, Mary Olivier Smith of Opelousas and Ledie Brasseaux Goutierrez of Erath; a host of aunts and uncles who will miss her greatly.
Preceded in death by grandfather, James C. Smith, Sr. and Ned Goutierrez. She was a loving mother and wife of 23 years. A dental assistant for Dr. Michael MacKenzie of Destrehan. Visitation on Saturday, May 24, 2008 from 10 a.m. until time of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norco. Funeral Services on Saturday, May 24, 2008 from Sacred Heart Catholic Church at noon. Interment: St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan. Clergy: Fr. Terry Hayden.
