Kick off the season of giving by bringing a smile to a child in need. Help Santa out this year by donating toys to the United Way of St. Charles’ annual Toy and Food drive.
Last year, the toy and food drive generated more than 2,000 pounds of food and over 700 toys. That allowed the organization to provide a total Christmas experience for 15 families in St. Charles.
The United Way partners with Catholic Charities for the toy part of the drive and with 4H and Second Harvest Food Bank for the food part. They also distribute food to local food pantries and give any leftover toys to the St. Charles Toy and Gift fund, which distributes toys to local families each December.
Support the drive by bringing non-perishable food items or unopened toys to the United Way of St. Charles office, 13207 River Road in Luling, before Dec. 20.
