A car traveling along I-310 this morning lost control, went off the road and rolled several times in the median before coming to a stop.
The black late 90s early 2000s model Ford Taurus was totaled in the incident.
Shortly after the crash, several motorists pulled over and came to the aid of the two people trapped inside the car.
The passengers were reportedly secured by their seat belts and no fatalities were reported. Two ambulances were seen leaving the area and are thought to have taken the passengers to St. Charles Parish Hospital to be treated for injuries.
At this time the extent of their injuries is unknown.
