Two shootings in St. Rose under investigation

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating two shootings in the St. Rose area of St. Charles Parish.

Shortly after  6 p.m,. deputies responded to two separate shootings resulting in four individuals being injured.

Three subjects are being treated at University Medical Center and one subject is being treated at Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner.

One incident occurred in the 400 block of Turtle Creek Lane in St. Rose. The second incident occurred in the 100 block of St. Rose Avenue, also in St. Rose.

During the investigation it was learned that both shooting incidents are related. Citizens should know that although there is a strong presence of Sheriff’s Office deputies and detectives in the area, there is no perceived threat to the public at this time.
