St. Rose man charged with possession of crack, marijuana

A St. Rose man was arrested last week on charges of drug and firearm possession.

David Weber, 25, of 512 Mockingbird Lane in St. Rose, has been charged with possession of two ounces of crack cocaine, over one pound of synthetic marijuana, marijuana packaged for distribution, approximately 200 dosage units of alprazolam (Xanax) and two guns.

The drugs were found after officers executed a search warrant at Weber’s resident, according to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Weber had been arrested prior for battery and drug possession.

He was in jail as of press time on a bond of $50,000.
