Sheriff’s office will auction off 25 vehicles

A total of 25 vehicles – including a Hummer, two Infinitis and several SUVs – will be auctioned off April 15 at the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office’s public auction.

Originally slated for March 25, the April 15 surplus auction will start at 1 p.m. and take place at 1611 St. Mary Street in Scott, LA. The auction is being facilitated by Manheim Lafayette.

Manheim Dealer Service Coordinator Rebekah Guidry said buyers can begin to register in person for the event on April 12. Registration will stay open until the day of the auction, and buyers will be able to inspect the inventory beginning the morning of the sale up until sale time.

Forms of accepted payment will include cash, a cashier’s check or a money order. No personal or company checks without a Bank Letter of Guarantee valid for 15 banking days after the auction will be accepted.
