Appointees needed to sit on board for the children and youth of St. Charles Parish
St. Charles Parish Council has created the St. Charles Parish Children and Youth Planning Board in accordance with LRS 46:1941.5 which mandates the creation of said Board and its makeup.
The purpose of the Board is to assist in the assessment, alignment, coordination, prioritization, and measurement of all available services and programs that address the needs of children and youth. If you would like to be considered for appointment to the board or would like more information, please contact Barbara Jacob-Tucker, Council Secretary at 783-5000 by July 31. Appointees are needed in the following areas: education, criminal justice, health care, social services, faith- based, business and labor, and parenting and youth organizations.
