Heavy downpour causes street flooding throughout parish
The wrath of Mother Nature descended upon St. Charles Parish last night as heavy downpours caused widespread street flooding throughout the area.
As much as 8 inches of rain came down upon Des Allemands and Bayou Gauche, with most of the area flooded in only two and a half hours.
Isolated thunderstorms are expected today, with more following tomorrow evening. Sunday should be mostly sunny, according to The Weather Channel.
