Police: Men lured prostitute to Ama home to rob her, pimp

Alleged pimp, armed robber among those arrested

A 21-year-old Metairie prostitute was robbed at gunpoint on Friday night while making a house call in Ama, according to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The incident led to the arrests of the woman and three other men, including the two men police believe planned the crime and an alleged pimp.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, 32-year-old Clinton McGraw found an escort service through the Internet and reached an agreement with Robin Tice in which she would perform sexual acts for money. Police say that Tice drove to McGraw’s Ama home with her pimp, 29-year-old Brandon Green of Memphis.

While Tice was inside McGraw’s home, 30-year-old Jeremie Weber of Ama entered the house from a rear door wearing all dark clothing, according to Capt. Pat Yoes, Sheriff’s Office spokesman.

Weber, who was armed with a gun, demanded that Tice give him all of her money and then fled with her cell phone, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

McGraw originally told police that he tried to stop Weber but was knocked unconscious, Yoes said. However, police now believe that Weber and McGraw were in on the robbery together.

“There were a lot of contradictions in their statements,” Yoes said.

Tice was able to identify her robber because of a tattoo, which Yoes said led police to Weber.

Tice was booked with prostitution while Green was charged with pandering.

Weber was charged with armed robbery, aggravated battery and felony carrying illegal weapon. McGraw was first charged only with prostitution, but is now booked with an additional charge of principle to armed robbery.
