The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office has located a mother and her two children who were reported missing after a Fourth of July celebration.
Luz Batista and her two children, Diovnani and Dioni Benitez Jr. were found unharmed. No further details are available because of privacy issues, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Batista was last seen in the parking lot of the St. Charles Parish School Board office around 10:50 p.m. July 3 after the parish’s annual Independence Day Celebration at West Bank Bridge Park, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Batista with her two children were seen sitting in her 2006 Blue Chrysler PT Cruiser.
