A man was found dead inside of a vehicle parked at the Destrehan library Tuesday afternoon.
The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the death, which according to police appears to be the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Deputies responded to a 911 call in the area and located the man inside of a vehicle. Additional law enforcement presence can be expected in the area for the duration of the investigation, the Sheriff’s Office noted.
