A Metairie man has been charged with forcing his ex-girlfriend into his vehicle and driving to a dirt road in St. Charles Parish before raping her, authorities said.
Luis O. Alicea-Rios, 28, of 4201 Hessmer Ave. was booked with rape, the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office said.
Alicea-Rios allegedly drove to the woman’s home in Metairie and forced her into his vehicle.
He then drove the woman to a dirt road in St. Charles Parish, where authorities say he raped her.
Alicea-Rios remains in the Nelson Coleman Correctional Center in Hahnville in lieu of $200,000 bond, the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office said.
