Baton Rouge builder purchases 17 lots in Luling’s Heather Oaks

Level Homes out of Baton Rouge recently announced the purchase of 17 lots in Heather Oaks — the multi-phase residential development located along East Heather Drive in Luling.

“We are thrilled to expand our offering into St. Charles Parish,” Ryan Engquist, president of Level Homes, said. “Less than 30 minutes from New Orleans, Heather Oaks residents will get the best of small town living with easy access to big city shopping, entertainment, restaurants, and more.”

Heather Oaks is being billed by the builder as a walkable community – touting the fact that the development is in walking distance to Lakewood Elementary School and offers easy access to other nearby schools, dining, parks, and entertainment.

In total Heather Oaks will offer 171 lots. The subdivision is a 52-acre development that neighbors Lakewood and Willowdale communities.

Level Homes is offering eight floorplans ranging from 2,115 sq. feet to 3,210 sq. feet in 3, 4 and 5-bedroom configurations – starting at $440,000 – on the lots.

“We’re very excited to our products to St. Charles Parish,” Jennifer Waguespack, director of sales for Level Homes, said. “We really feel like Luling is such a great city … safe, great schools, and so close to New Orleans. We really research our sites, and we can offer a great product to customers here.”

Waguespack said slabs are currently being poured on five of the company’s speculatory homes in the development.

“Level has in-house sales agents that people can meet with on-site to look at the lots,” she said. “We’ve already met with several potential buyers.”
