Lack of mud at Spillway Run doesn’t stop fun

The Annual Spillway Classic Trail Run drew a huge crowd, but not much rain and mud.

The race went on and crowds of runners piled on top of the few mud puddles that were present on the spillway.

The winners for the men’s category were: open winner David Rooney, who ran the 3-mile race in 17 minutes, 27 seconds,  masters winner Dave Ray, grandmasters winner J.J. Waguespack and seniors winner Ken Mire.

In the women’s category, the winners were: open winner Amy Guinn, who finished in 21 minutes, 26 seconds, masters winner Suzy Shafor, grandmasters winner Mary Lambert and seniors winner Yvonne Thomas.
