A 54-year-old Michigan man was killed after his car ran into the back of a dump truck on Highway 90 near the St. Charles Parish line, according to the Louisiana State Police.
Khoshoo Vikram died around 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of South Kenner Road and Highway 90.
A westbound dump truck driven by Euell Marceaux Jr., 39, of Kaplan had stopped in the left lane to make a turn.
For unknown reasons, Vikram’s car ran into the truck.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
