Abigail Johnson, an eighth grade student at Albert Cammon Middle School, was a finalist in the “Louisiana Writes! Youth Writing Contest.”
Teacher-consultants choose the finalists in each category and professional authors choose the top three in each category. Her nonfiction work, “Home Run” placed third.
