An overview of the school system’s 2019 United Way campaign was presented to the School Board at its January meeting.
United Way of St. Charles Executive Director John Dias was in attendance to thank and congratulate the school system for the campaign that raised a school system record total of $119,836.49 for the citizens of St. Charles Parish.
Seventy-six percent of employees participated in the campaign.
The school system has a long-standing relationship with the United Way.
School system employees serve on many United Way committees, and several member agencies directly provide services for students.
