Homecoming royalty were recently named at Hahnville and Destrehan high schools.
Hahnville High School
Queen Jada Adlay Butler of Luling is the daughter of Lynette and James Butler. She serves as captain of the Hi-Steppers and as a Kick-Off Mentor. Jada is also a member of the Beta Club, Green Club and Student Council. She was awarded cum laude. Jada plans to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to major in biology with a minor in Dance.
King Peyton Joseph Robert of Bayou Gauche is the son of Dawn and Rickey Robert Jr. He is a member of the football team. After graduation, Peyton plans to attend Nicholls State University to major in Engineering.
Destrehan High School
King Kalen Brown is the son of Trinette and Clyde Brown of St. Rose. After graduation, he plans to pursue a degree in Engineering. Kalen’s DHS activities include: Honor Roll, 3 years; Basketball, 1 year; Football, 4 years (District Champs ‘13-14, ‘14-15; State Finalists ‘14-15); Kick-Off Mentor, 1 year.
Queen Reagan Pfister is the daughter of Paula Gaudet Bischoff and Mark Pfister of Destrehan. After graduation, she plans to pursue a degree in Biology, Pre-Medicine. Reagan’s DHS activities include: Honor Roll, 3 years; Softball, 1 year; Swim Team, 4 years (District Champs ‘12-13, ‘13-14, ‘14-15; All-Metro Team ‘12-13, ‘13-14, ‘14-15; All-State Team ‘12-13, ‘13-14, ‘14-15; Junior MVP); Student Council, 4 years (Executive Board President ‘14-15; Junior Class President; Sophomore Class President); Powder Puff, 2 years (Captain ‘13-14); Kick-Off Mentor, 2 years (Council Member ‘15-16); LA Youth Seminar 2015; Citizen’s Action Committee, 1 year; Voted Sophomore Class Best Personality.
