SCC students attend pro-life march in D.C.

Nine students from St. Charles Catholic recently went to the March for Life rally in Washington, D.C.

While on the trip, they visited the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Smithsonian Museum, the WWII Memorial, Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial. Their main objective was participating in the 39th Annual March for Life rally.

“It is definitely a life-changing experience,” said Whitney Rizzuto, a senior at SCC. “You go up there with a certain mindset and it is totally different when you come home. If the trip doesn’t change you, the 24 hour bus ride will.”Students attending were Ashley Klibert, Gi Levet, Julie Melancon, Tiffany Mitchell, Chris Millet, Cori Millet, Klay Olasin, Whitney Rizzuto and Amy Zhou.
