Destrehan High School rewarded students who meet the school’s ROARS Expectations each semester.
ROARS stands for: Respect Everyone, Optimize Learning, Attendance and Timeliness are essential, Responsibility, and Success –dress for it. The program is sponsored by DHS’s partner in education, the Norco Manufacturing Complex. Nearly half the student body was eligible for the drawing of two iPads. The two selected for the awards were freshman Dalen Thomas and junior Victoria Fortes.
