The Bethlehem Baptist Church in Hahnville hosted its spring Ladies Tea on Saturday, June 13 at the church. The event was attended by many parishioners and ladies in the community.
An afternoon service with guest speaker Hadley Sennette kicked off the event which continued with tea, conversation and a lunch for all.
“It was a real nice event,” said Mel Bellow, spokesperson for the church. “This is our second Ladies Tea and we had a good turnout. It’s our way of reaching out to the ladies in the community in both a social and spiritual way.”
Bellow says that church plans to continue their periodic teas and other community events, and hopes to attract women from other areas of the parish.
