Congratulations to Melissa Bird, RN of St. Charles Parish for being selected as the Louisiana School Nurse of the Year.
She has worked for St. Charles Parish Public Schools since 2005, and is the school nurse at St. Rose Elementary and Albert Cammon Middle School.
Melissa graduated from Charity School of Nursing with her Associates Degree in Nursing. She is an active member of Louisiana School Nurses Organization and the National Association of School Nurses.
