College students who have graduated from either Destrehan High School or Hahnville High School may be eligible to apply for the Ethel Schoeffner Scholarship. You are eligible to apply if you meet the following criteria:
1. You are currently enrolled in a four-year education curriculum or a four-year nursing curriculum at an accredited, four-year state college or university.
2. You have reached at least your second semester of the sophomore year in either Education or Nursing.
3. You are in good standing in either the education or the nursing curriculum as certified by a letter from the College of Education or the College of Nursing.
Application forms may be obtained from the St. Charles Parish School Board Office, 785-6289.
Applications are for the 2008 fall semester, and the deadline for submitting your application and supporting documents is Nov. 28.
