Students in Mindy Baudouin’s fourth grade math class at Lakewood Elementary School have been studying place value.
In a recent lesson on rounding, the students used a vertical number line to round multi-digit whole numbers. Classmates Madelyn Cooper and Morgan Landry participated in a Kagan Cooperative Learning Structure to work together in rounding multi-digit numbers to given place values.
