Knights of Columbus Council 2409 has announced its 2011 Catholic Youth Leadership Award Winners.
They are Mallory Dupont, a senior at Hahnville High School who was nominated by St. Gertrude Church in Des Allemands, and Daniel Arnold, also a senior at Hahnville High School who was nominated by St. Gertrude Church. The two have demonstrated leadership ability in their church, school and community. The winners receive a $100 scholarship locally. Presenting the award is Brent Madere, KC 2409 Youth Director.
