J. B. Martin was recently represented at the Regional 10 Jr. Level Science and Engineering Fair held on the campus of Nicholls State University.
The Cougars were able to take home placement awards for their efforts. Landon Baudoin placed second in Animal Science for his project “Hooked on Fishing.”
Conrad Allemand placed second in Jr. Biochemistry with his project “The Electrolyte Challenge.” Lyrren Mwaghore placed second in Jr. Chemistry with her project “Apples to Apples.” David Broussard’s project “The Regulation of Pictorial Representations of Executable Binaries via a Near-Immediate Commencing Mechanism” in the Jr. Computer Science Category placed first. Abby Christen received first place in the Jr. Earth and Planetary division with her project “Race Against Weather.” Gavin Turner received third place in the Jr. Earth and Planetary division with his project “The Run Through.” Jacques Dufrene took home first place in the Jr. Engineering Electrical and Mechanical with his project “The Power of Pulleys.” Cade Mataya received second place in Jr. Engineering Materials and Biomaterials with his project “Sounds of Silence.” In the Jr. Environmental Science category David Baudry took home first place. Luca Busalacchi won first place with his project “Batter Up” in the Jr. Mathematics category. Caitlyn Cancienne received first place for her project “How High can it Rise?” in the Jr. Medicine and Health category. Lastly, Trevious Jakab received third place in the Jr. Plant Science division with his project titled “Lights Out.”
