This week’s St. Charles Humane Society’s showcase pet is Vera.
“Vera is a 1-year-old, female boxer mix who is very sweet, loving and playful. Vera was found as a stray and never claimed. She loves to give and receive attention. Vera would make a great family pet and said if someone could adopt her she would have her toys ready in a jiffy and good to go to a forever home, ” said Jackie Boudreaux, president of the Humane Society.
The shelter is at 921 Rue Cannes in Luling. It is open Monday – Friday and on Saturdays 8 a.m. – Noon. Please stop and adopt.
