This week’s Humane Society showcase pet is Missy, a lovable shelter cat that, on Dec. 6, will be joined by a special guest.
“Missy loves to lounge around, play and check out her whiskers,” said Jackie Boudreaux, President of the Humane Society. “She grooms them very well.”
This Saturday, Dec. 6, Missy and the other shelter pets will be joined by Santa. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., members of the public are welcome to come to the shelter to have their pets’ picture taken alongside jolly St. Nick.
In addition to Missy, the Humane Society said there are plenty of great pets at the shelter whose only wish is to have a home.
