Total Choice Federal Credit Union has selected Alyssa Worman as the recipient of their 3rd Annual $1,000 Your 1st Choice for Financial Success Scholarship.
“The Board and Scholarship Committee are very happy to award this year’s prize to Alyssa,” said Barbara N. Sassin, President and CEO of Total Choice. “Alyssa’s essay truly captured the spirit of credit unions and epitomizes our efforts to make a difference in the lives of our members/owners.”
Alyssa is the daughter of credit union members James and Pamela Horton.
She is a recent Hahnville High gradute and will attend the University of Southern Mississippi in the fall majoring in fashion merchandising.
Selection criteria included academic performance and essay presentation on the topic: Credit Unions – How Our Cooperative Philosophy Makes a Difference and Why That Difference Makes Total Choice Your First Choice.
