Women’s club awards scholarships to seniors
At the end-of-the-year luncheon the St. Charles Women’s Club awarded the following St. Charles Parish high school seniors scholarships:
Angela McGowan, scholarship chairwomen and club president Teresa Miller presented four $500 scholarships to Ronald Joseph of Benjiman Franklin High School, and Jourdan McCullough, Lauren Matherne and Kelsie Soudelier of Hahnville High School.
A $1,000 scholarship was presented to Samantha May and the $4,000 scholarship went to Arielle Delery. Both May and Delery attended Hahnville High School.
The St. Charles Women’s Club is a non-profit social and civic organization which has been in existence since 1966 and currently has 131 members.
