German Coast Farmers’ MarketEaster bunny visit – 9 a.m.- noon, April 4. Visitors can take pictures of their children with the Easter bunny.
Holy Family April 2 – Holy Thursday, 7 p.m., Mass of the Lord’s Supper April 3 – Good Friday, 3 p.m., Liturgy of the Passion of Our Lord. Stations of the Cross follow the same day at 6:30 p.m. April 4 – Holy Saturday, 8 p.m., Easter Vigil Service April 5 – Easter Sunday, masses at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 5 p.m

Immediately following each service will be an Easter egg hunt for children ages 3 – 12 years old. Egg hunt divisions are: 10:30 a.m. – ages 1-3 in Field 1; 10:45 a.m. – ages 7 – 10 in Field 2, and 11 a.m. – ages 4 – 6 in Field 1. Registration is 9:30 – 10 a.m. A hat contest will be held at 10 a.m. Games will be held 10 a.m. to noon. $2 donation requested.St. Charles United Methodist ChurchApril 2 – Holy Thursday communion service, 7 p.m., will have singing with the church choir.
Special songs will be accompanied by flute and harp. April 3 – Good Friday, 7 p.m. service entitled, “Jesus Paid It All” will highlight scripture, as well as solos and our adult choir. April 5 – Easter morning services include a “Sunrise on the Levee Service” at 6:30 a.m. near Ormond Plantation.
Those who attend can bring a lawn chair to the service. Service in the sanctuary completes the church’s Easter services at 8:30 and 11 a.m.
The church choir will sing with the church’s praise band and the Triumphal Sounds of Trumpet. St. Matthew Baptist Church April 3 – Good Friday service, 8:30 a.m: Seven ministers speak on the last seven sayings of Jesus from the cross.
Rev. Albert Bailey is in charge. April 5 – Easter Sunrise, 6 a.m. Following the service, candy will be given to children.
