$500 grand prize at stake as 14 finalists go head-to-head
The St. Charles Herald-Guide’s 2013 Camera Shootout photography contest has come to a close, which means that the $500 grand prize will go to one talented parish resident.
In today’s issue of the St. Charles Herald-Guide, all 12 monthly winners and two editor’s picks from the 2013 Camera Shootout are featured and will be available for a popular vote one last time by Herald-Guide readers.

As a reminder, here are the voting rules:
Voting opens on Thursday, Jan. 9. Votes will only be accepted online at www.heraldguide.com. Any votes phoned in or emailed will not be counted.
The only photos eligible for the $500 grand prize are photos that were chosen as monthly winners throughout 2013 plus two selections that were made by our editors.
If your photo was only chosen as a weekly winner, it will not be included in the final 14.
Polls close on Monday, Jan. 13 at 5 p.m. and the winner will be announced in the Jan. 16 edition of the Herald-Guide. P
